Those of you who have spoken with me or those I've had the pleasure to meet in person know that in addition to working closely with physicians in career transition through third_Evolution, I also periodically take on other entrepreneurial pursuits. Like an entrepreneur you're free to work as much or as little as you wish and to focus on only the clients you choose. But as a licensee you have resources for training, education, marketing, and my phone line is always open to help you with those tough cases

By the time physicians engage third_Evolution, most have already made the mental, and sometimes physical, break with practice. Intervening before that break occurs would help many more physicians lead happier and more effective practice lives. However, the place to have that intervention is not in my office, but in the doctors' and surgeons' offices and lounges around the country, and the person to have that intervention is "You!" Join the Medical Team at American World Clinics - Barbados

That's right Barbados! I have partnered with a respected surgeon and business man, Paul Angelchik, MD, to create American World Clinics - Barbados, Ltd. to provide "American healthcare" at an "American hospital" in Barbados. Our patient base is a combination of medical tourists from the U.K, Western Europe, Scandinavia, Canada and the U.S.; Expats living on the island and other citizens from throughout the Caribbean basin who find travel to Barbados for medical procedures easier and less expensive than travel to the U.S. - their current destination.

The hospital is approximately 100,000 square feet, with 12 ORs, 50 inpatient beds and an appropriate compliment of exam space, mostly for pre-post-op. Although primarily a surgical hospital offer a full range of cosmetic, orthopaedic, general, and other surgical specialties, cosmetic dentistry and other invasive procedures, it will also offer opportunities in radiology, laboratory, hospitalist and primary care specialties. You may practice full or part time and a variety of contractual relationship levels have been developed to address the needs of employees to investors.

The genesis of AWC-Barbados is Dr. Angelchik's desire to practice medicine in a more physician friendly environment.
