Are you facing challenges to your license, to your practice?
Every day hundreds of physicians stand before their States' Board of Medicine. Are you, will you, be one of them?
It is devastating when issues arise in your practice, business or personal life that will impact the status of your license and your ability to practice and to earn a living. It's also a direct attack on who you are and what you spent years or decades to become.
We know, we've been there. What we also know, it goes beyond the Medical Boards. It may include hospital executive committees, shareholder meetings, depositions or court appearances. We know there are many venues, many regulatory and licensing boards, commissions and organizations, all and each of which can present challenges to your ability to practice.
And, that's why we exist. We're here to help you navigate the challenges of these proceedings. We're not offering legal advice, we are not lawyers. We're doctors and hospital administrators who have direct working knowledge of the environments physicians face from these various entities.
And this is what we know. There are right ways and wrong ways to answer questions. The truth can be clearly stated appropriately and you may receive a positive hearing, or that same truth may be presented in a manner those on the panel interpret as shirking responsibility, confrontational or dismissive, and a very different result may occur.
Demeanor, presence, dress, attitude... these are all a part of the "subjective" record that doesn't get published, but can carry just as much weight as the objective facts of your case. We know, because we have watched it happen, and we've had it corroborated by the attorney's representing physicians and by the members of the Federation of State Medical Boards directly.
